Cross Country Success

Our Cross Country squad had a very successful day, running 1400m in Round 2 of the Flahavan’s Primary League. First up we had 3 strong finishers in the individual race, including Lucy who won a medal for coming in 3rd place.
Next up were the team events, where our runners improved their times on the last round, thanks to their hard work at training. The overall standings after both rounds see our boys finishing in 11th place overall, while our girls finished in 5th place. A fantastic performance!
And that’s not all! As a result of her performance in both rounds of the league, Isabella has earned herself a place in the Northern Ireland Finals. What is a fabulous achievement!
We are so proud of every boy and girl in this squad for their commitment to training, their overall attitude and their great performance in races. Their treat after the race was very well-deserved!
