Summer Tournaments Time

What an amazing display of sporting talent we have seen over the last couple of weeks in our school. Hard-hitting hurling, nail-biting netball and fantastic football! Every child in P4, 5, 6, 7 and our children from Class B participated in our annual team events as part of our Summer term sporting activities programme, giving each of them the opportunity to mix with other classes, work together as part of a team and experience a competitive sporting environment.
The league stages of our competitions were very exciting, resulting in competitive finals, watched and supported by all the children by many parents. Everybody played brilliantly and contributed superbly to their team’s overall performance. A special mention to our P7 captains and vice-captains who ensured each team member was fully involved in the games and whose encouragement and leadership allowed for all the children to enjoy the experience. Commendable qualities indeed from our leavers.
