Year 4 Assembly

P4 opened their assembly today with an animated song about Zacchaeus, a greedy tax collector who proceeded to turn his life around after meeting Jesus.

The children dramatized the story of Zacchaeus and talked about changes in their own lives over the last 7 years.

They looked at changes in the seasons and used their autumn walk as a stimulus to share descriptions about changes in nature they had noticed.

The school were entertained by an action poem dramatizing what it is like to grow up and the P4 class ended with a lively hymn “He’ll be there”, reinforcing the idea that no matter what they do or where they go in life, God will always be there for them.
