Cross Country in Armoy

Last Wednesday our Cross Country squad competed in their toughest race yet – and boy did they do us proud. The race, organised by Cumann na mBunscol GAA, took place on a lovely sunny day in Armoy. The challenge in this race was the distance, which was double what this squad has been accustomed to. They were not to be deterred however, as every one of them displayed the athleticism and determination to complete the 3,300m course. Well done to Lucie and Ailsa, finishing 5th and 7th respectively. On the whole we had fantastic running from everyone on this great squad of boys and girls.
