Ditch the Dark

What a fantastic morning.  Everyone looked terrific and drivers were certainly able to see the boys and girls from St. Brigid's.  Safety on the roads is an important message and one that is reinforced in the curriculum and obviously supported by our parents because they turned up with their children in such great numbers.  Thank-you.

 

As well as road safety we also want to encourage healthy lifestyle and perhaps today's events will encourage you to walk or cycle with your child to school.  You may even consider the hybrid journey of part car and part walking.  Why not park up a mile from school and walk the final mile?  It is good for you, the children, parking at the school and the environment.
