Year 6 gave a fantastic performance this morning for their month of June whole school assembly.

The children have been working on the topic of Recycling this term. They have learnt about the detrimental effects of not sorting our rubbish, sending unnecessary waste to landfill and how this causes Global Warming.

The children used drama, performed a rap and a song to convey their eco message. In ICT this year, P6 have been working on 'Film and Animation'. As part of this work the children created their own animation clip using 'Explain Everything' in groups using the iPad. These were then put together using 'iMovie' to create their class video called 'Waste Not, Want Not'.

We hope you enjoy watching our video and that it also encourages you to recycle much more than you do. If you would like to comment on our video log onto C2K Newsdesk using your C2K Username and password.

Well done Year 6 on a super assembly!
