Cross Country Round 3
What a challenging race this was! Our Cross Country team endured tough conditions in Roe Valley Leisure Centre, Limavady, in Round 3 of the Flahavan’s Cross Country League. To quote the children themselves, it was “cold, wet, windy, muddy and slippy”, and they finished the race “numb and sore, but proud”.
We are delighted to announce that two of our boys have qualified for the Northern Ireland Finals in Mallusk in February. This is based on their positions after all three rounds of the league. Hard work and training pays off. Brilliant boys!
Every member of the team completed the course and did themselves, their teachers and their school proud. It was a day they will remember for a long time. Very well done to every single one of you!
