GAA 5 Star Training

All staff had an energetic start to the term with an action-packed morning of training in Gaelic Games coaching. The training comes with our involvement in the GAA 5 Star Initiative, which aims to promote physical activity in a manner that ensures fun, friendship, fairness and ultimately improves children’s fitness. We are looking forward to building on our participation in Gaelic Games in St Brigid’s, while fostering a love of physical activity among our pupils.
Huge thanks to Dominic McKinley, Alfie Hannaway and Simon McCrory of Gaelfast for delivering such an enjoyable and worthwhile session. Thanks also to Our Lady of Lourdes for the use of their hall and to the staff at the Model who joined us for the day.
